A Brief History Lesson from Liz Cheney so Simple that a Child Can Understand it

U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has said that if the Republicans take power after next Tuesday’s election, that Ukraine will not get another dime to help defend itself against Russia. In response, Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney said that if Greene had been in the GOP in the 1980s, that the U.S. would have lost the Cold War to the Soviet Union.

That led to a Twitter spat, which is childish at its own level, but it’s where we are these days.

Give Cheney credit, though, for using the platform to teach a history lesson that any child can understand. She said:

Here’s some history for you, Marjorie. Russia was part of the Soviet Union.
The Soviet Union was Communist.
Putin was a member of the KGB.
Communism & KGB = bad.
America won the Cold War.
It was a great victory for freedom.
Now you stand with Putin against freedom & America.

The question is, will Greene understand it? Will the voters?
