LENOIR, N.C. – Yesterday, I ran a story critical of CBS News for pulling a planned 60 Minutes investigative segment centering on allegations of abuses at an El Salvador detention center where the Trump administration sent hundreds of Venezuelan migrants last March.

It is a shocking revelation of man’s inhumanity to man. It is not pleasant viewing, nor flattering of our nation, all the more reason to force yourself to watch it.
