LENOIR, N.C. – Approximately 300 people turned out in Lenoir yesterday as part of the nationwide “No Kings” protest held on Flag Day in resistance to Donald Trump’s unconstitutional and cruel behavior and related policies. Meanwhile in Morganton in neighboring Burke County, about 600 people turned out.
Opponents of the rally numbered less than a dozen.
My notebook is full and requires a bit more time to organize and cobble into a story. Actually, several articles are likely from this. For today though, we’ll start with a photo gallery from yesterday’s event in Lenoir. I’m not being lazy. Yesterday simply provided the classical opportunity for each photo to be worth a thousand words.
