LENOIR, N.C. – Are you interested in joining with like-minded folks to hone your writing interests and skills? If so, Shadow Line Vineyard in Caldwell County is hosting an​ interest meeting for “A Community of Writers Gathering.” The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. It is part of my Community Engagement philosophy as well as the community-minded folks at Shadow Line Vineyard to help establish a potential new writing community with folks from Caldwell County and beyond. You can sign up for this meeting here.

As a journalist, author, teacher and owner/publisher of the Appalachian Chronicle, I will help us consider a few questions together:

• Do you enjoy expressing your thoughts through writing?
• Are you interested in preserving your family’s stories, memories, and history?
• Would you like to refresh your writing skills—whether for work or personal fulfillment?
