In it’s 28th year, this year’s concert is set for March 14

LENOIR, N.C. – A local tradition, the Caldwell Musicians Showcase, is returning to the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center for its 28th year. This year’s production, themed “Saturday Night & Sunday Morning,” will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

The showcase promises an unforgettable journey through the sounds of the South, blending the high-energy grit of “Saturday Night” blues and country with the soulful, uplifting spirit of “Sunday Morning” gospel. Audience members are invited to clap their hands and stomp their feet during a joyful exploration of Gospel, Blues, Country, and Soul.

This year’s event features an extraordinary lineup of regional talent, anchored by Andrew Massey and his backing band, the Midnight Americans. They will be joined by a collaborative ensemble of premier vocalists and instrumentalists to bring this year’s theme to life.

• Robert Guwca (Cello)
• Cody Pennell (Drums)
• Featured Vocalists: Jordan Hipps, Stevie Hipps Walker, Jolie Dean Hipps, Novalee Soleil Bentley, Romy Lennox Bentley, Scott Pennell, and LaRhonda Carlton.

The evening will be guided by the always charming Nancy Posey, serving as the Master of Ceremonies.
