LENOIR, N.C. – Welcome to Lenoir, art lovers! The 40th Annual Sculpture Celebration truly is a special event for Lenoir. It highlights the beauty of art, the creative mind, dedication to one’s craft, and a devotion born out of love for the art and life itself.
We embrace and support such creativity and dedication at Grassroots Appalachia, Lenoir’s newest art gallery, Appalachian Free Trade Arts & Crafts shop, and listening and gathering space.
So, we invite to you visit our location at 458-B Harper Avenue in Lenoir. From the T.H. Broyhill Walking Park, where the Sculpture Celebration is held, you’ll find Grassroots Appalachia by going north on Morganton Boulevard and taking a left on Harper Avenue. We’ll be on the right about a mile down in a white building. We’re open from 11 – 4.
We have begun displaying art for our upcoming Art Exhibit, “Home Grown.” We have everything from books to tinctures. You can learn more about our inventory here. Every item in our gallery/shop is made right here in Caldwell County or other Appalachian counties. We know every vendor. It is here that you can be confident that you are supporting local and talented artisans with each purchase. Your support also helps us offer the community song nights, poetry readings, book signings, workshops and more.

We hope to see you today! Look for our logo on our window:
